The 5th annual HOT OFF THE PRESS BOOK FAIR at Fantagraphics Bookstore features a stellar line-up of local, national, and international artists including Berlin graphic novelist Ulli Lust, Minneapolis musician and cartoonist Zak Sally, Atlanta’s Joshua Ray Stephens, Peter Hoey of Coin-Op Books, Kelly Froh and co. of Short Run Micropress, Marc Palm, Cold Cube, Max Clotfelter, David Lasky, Hair Flip Comix, Megan Kelso, Woody, Tatiana Gil, Jae Bearhat, Rory Frances, D. What’s in Store: Lightning Snake Launch Party

   Join us at Fantagraphics Bookstore this Saturday, June 10 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM as we host the publication party for Lightning Snake by Jason T. Miles from Cold Cube Press. This exhibition of original art and book signing coincides with the colorful Georgetown Carnival arts festival featuring art, music, and more from noon to 10:00 PM. What’s in Store: Georgetown Carnival Arts Festival

Step right up the 12th annual Georgetown Carnival on Saturday, June 10 from noon to 10:00 PM. This colorful community arts festival celebrates the creative diversity Seattle’s oldest neighborhood. Free family fun all day long! This year’s edition features free concerts by Northwest rock stalwarts Mudhoney (fronted by former Fantagraphics staffer Mark Arm) and Tom Price Desert Classic (with current staffer Martin Bland on drums).
