Join us on Saturday, July 10 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at Fantagraphics Bookstore for the 7th annual Hot Off the Press Book Fair, a free outdoor event featuring dozens of regional small press and self-published artists. Guests include Coin-Op Books, Short Run, Jim Woodring, Matthew Southworth, Garth Stein, Cold Cube, Fogland Studios, David Lasky, Scarfff, Hella Handa, Emerald Comics Distro, nine muses books, Kassandra Davis, Paper Press Punch, Misfit Lit, Raven Chronicles, R. Thies, Patrick Moriarity, Brandon Lehmann, Jim Blanchard, Reed Olsen, Brett Hamil, Ries Niemi, Laura Knetzger, Megan Kelso, Josh Simmons, Kalen Knowles, Lauren Armstrong, Marc Palm, Sarah Romano Diehl, James Stanton, Max Clotfelter, Misc. Media, Jason T. Miles, Ra-Ra Rebel, Larry Lewis, Robyn Jordan, Neoglyphic Media, E. T. Russian, Josh Pettinger, Nate Garcia, and more. The show also features a FANG art exhibition by Marc Palm and friends with live music by Lori Goldston, Feedback Seed, Matthew Southworth and Annihilation Squares.
This event will provide one of the first opportunities for the comix community to safely assemble in more than a year. We anticipate everyone will be vaccinated and, of course, we’ll strictly adhere to all public health directives.
