New York: Opening Reception for The Last Vispo

 Thursday, January 22nd New York, NY – Visual poetry is often description as the intersection of word play and art. But whether you approach the medium as a poet or an artist, the renderings are often moving, playful, and linguistically creative. Turkey Week in Fanta Events 11/26-11/30

Wednesday, November 26th New York – The official release of the brand new graphic novel from Marguerite Van Cook and James Romberger, The Late Child and Other Animals, kicks off at Jim Hanley's Universe (or JHU) with a signing from 6-8 pm. Wednesday, November 12th Seattle, WA – We're teaming up with our favorite video store non-profit, Scarecrow, to present the deeply influential film, Wild Style. Released in 1983, Wild Style captured the sounds, sights, and moves, of New York hip hop during it's earliest and formative years. It also features rare footage of cats like Grandmaster Flash and Fab 5 Freddy. This special presentation tonight is also featuring the one and only Ed Piskor.
