Sunday, November 30th

New York, NY – The KGB Bar & Lit Journal of NYC is an institution, just ask any literary arts lover or writer. Serving the community by hosting free readings almost every night of the week, showcasing the talents of poets, fiction authors, non-fiction authors, and on very very very special occassion, graphic novelists. For this year's Annual Thanksgiving Comix and Graphic Novelist Night KGB is welcoming two other NYC institutions, Marguerite Van Cook and James Romberger, creators of their new book, The Late Child and Other Animals

Piecing together the narrative of her life, and that of her mother's in The Late Child, Marguerite Van Cook writes a generational biography that reflects the past, present and future in every story; this book is definitely required reading. Van Cook and Romberger will be joined at KGB by a handful of other artists including Karen Katz, Jon Allen, and Seattle native Laura Knetzger. Gives thanks this Sunday to the almighty Comix Spirit, that we may continue to be blessed with books such as these, that can be enjoyed at places like KGB.

FREE, from 7 pm – 9 pm.
