Please join us at Fantagraphics Bookstore on Saturday, April 13 for an exhibition of watercolors and drawings by Mexican multimedia artist Charles Glaubitz as he launches the second volume of his metaphysical graphic novel Starseeds. Also appearing is award-winning cartoonist and illustrator Leela Corman, co-founder of Sequential Artists Workshop in Gainesville, Florida. Glaubitz’s Starseeds emerged from a series of narrative paintings on modern mythology. His subsequent graphic novel is informed by sources such as Joseph Campbell, Jack Kirby, Robert Anton Wilson, and the Mayan Aztec Codex – a fascinating and fluid meditation on the human condition.
