Jim Woodring’s Big Egypt Parlor Sphinx is Back!

It's true! A few years ago, the mighty Jim Woodring teamed up with toy designers Cardboard Spaceship for this exclusive resin figurine of the Big Egypt Parlor Sphinx.  (As Jim describes on his Facebook page, "You can't tell from the image, but the label on the box was designed to look in all ways as if it were made in occupied Japan."  Haw!) Vinylpulse.com has some shots of the sculpts for the lil' guy. The finished resin figurine measures approx. 4" tall by 5" wide. This toad is a prince, and we're happy to see him back in production! Hurry…

The shirts don't seem to be available directly from the Nike website (believe me, I looked!), but you can find them on eBay. (cough) Swoon, just look at that stunning lettering! It almost makes me want to work out! (But not really.) Don't forget! Ron will be launching his exhibit of originals from The Cartoon Utopia at…

Come meet the artist noneother than Phoebe Gloeckner has called, "amongst the most promising artist/authors of her generation. Her work is spare and elegant, yet the hand of the artist is always evident in her line. Her characters inhabit cold or desolate environments, often on…
