Wednesday, November 26th New York – The official release of the brand new graphic novel from Marguerite Van Cook and James Romberger, The Late Child and Other Animals, kicks off at Jim Hanley's Universe (or JHU) with a signing from 6-8 pm. Amidst all the other new comic releases this Wednesday, Late Child sticks out as a gorgeously illustrated tale of generational struggles and growth. The poetric lyricism of Van Cook and Romberger is swift and harrowing, told through a collage of memories and intimate moments that are often uplifting despite the difficult endeavours. So catch this and probably an X-Men book this Wednesday! (More Details)…

Zak Sally’s Comic Experiment continues
Zak Sally sent over some samples of his new comic in his Eisner-nominated series, RECIDIVIST Vol. IV, an experiment in comics. It's a gorgeous work of art following/not following a man, a place, a time, a house. The comic also comes with a great soundtrack to read to, it is most akin to a genre of ambient terror music (if that exists) and works smashingly well with reading the book. Like I mentioned, this comic is an experience, not your literal and linear reading experience but something to absorb–maybe not even read front to back. It is well worth the price…
