The Angoulême International Comics Festival was founded by French cultural ministers Francis Groux and Jean Mardikian, and comics scholar Claude Moliterni. Now in its 43rd year, the fest hosts upwards of 200,000 guests and visitors to the town of Angoulême each year. The Angoulême Grand Prix award is often considered one of the most prestigious in the industry, and we’re so proud of our French babies!
