The entryway to Fantagraphics Bookstore & Gallery is currently undergoing a major renovation. When this project is complete on May 30, the historic Georgetown arts community will enjoy a spacious central plaza right outside the store – complete with pedestrian plazas, public art, improved lighting and other amenities. (See artist rendering below.) In the meantime, the construction is creating a hardship for the businesses in close proximity. This weekend would be a great time to drop by and show your support. Both the bookstore and Georgetown Records will maintain normal hours throughout the construction. Vintage vinyl and comic books. What else is there?
