Ulli Lust on Tour July 2019!

Fans of autobio comics, Euro-comics, and general cartooning excellent rejoice! We are extremely thrilled to have the talented, LA Times Book Prize-winning artist Ulli Lust joining us here on the best coast this month to promote the release of her stunning new graphic memoir, How I Tried to Be a Good Person.

The book is a story of sexual exploration, violence, and self-liberation, told with an honesty few cartoonists are capable of. This powerfully vulnerable graphic memoir picks up directly where its predecessor, Today Is The Last Day Of The Rest Of Your Life, left off, following Lust’s life as a young, enthusiastic artist in 1990s Vienna. Check out this preview run last month by The Paris Review.
