Marketing & Publicity interns
Marketing department interns will gain first-hand experience in media relations, learn how to promote comics to the press and gain insight into the world of comics publishing.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, and Photoshop
Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel
Photo and video editing skills desired
Knowledge and interest in alternative comics is a major plus!
15+ hour a week commitment
Please note: Fantagraphics is a dog-friendly office, so allergies to furry friends may hinder your experience.
Example Tasks:
Create and edit multi-media files to preview/promote books including digital photography, video, and PDF previews.
Create publicity fact sheets and assist with mailing press copies
Other duties as assigned
