Kickstarter Update: Swell Shirts and more

Lane Milburn

We thank all of you for your support and love of great comics. We've been adding new things daily so here are few great ones! The new aim is still $200,000 so we can continue on with Kim Thompson's excellent taste in bande dessinee and the tradition of translating foreign comics in English for future generations. So find a gift for a friend or another one for yourself today!

For only $20, you can get Guardsmen of Infinity #1, an EARLY zine by Gary Groth who typeset the whole damn thing with a Leroy lettering system (for you fellow geezers!). Cover below:

For most people, music is a way of life and Ed Piskor is no exception to the rule with his new graphic novel Hip Hop Family Tree (Vol 1 is out now, Vol 2 is available for pre-order through this Kickstarter!). Wear this shirt proudly because dammit, we're turning the radio all the way up ($40).

We're offering a pre-order on signed copies of The Blighted Eye, the book of Glenn Bray's personal collection of the most copious, diverse, and lavish compilation of original comic art ever published. In addition to the book are several SIGNED prints from Bray's collection printed for the first time (in a long time) from cartoonists Justin Green, Gary Panter, Kim Deitch, and Robert Williams.

Eleanor Davis sent the artwork in for a set of two gorgeous two-color prints. If there's not space on your walls for these, consider throwing up a demi-wall or take down whatever trash is currently hanging off the nail. Only $100 for both prints by this NY Times cartoonist and all-around amazing storyteller.

BEHOLD, the beautiful image of Jim Woodring's Frank on this gorgeous black shirt that compliments his linework. And yes, that EPIC image at the top graces Lane Milburn's shirt, his book Twelve Gems is still up for pre-order along with some added incentives like an actual GEM featuring artwork from the book etched on it. The perfect accessory to a bookshelf groaning with weight from beautiful books.
