Hi folks! The holidays are coming, but we’re gonna squeeze in one more show for ya, so plan to be at Pratt Institute this Sunday between 11am and 7pm for this year’s Comic Arts Brooklyn! Debut books, Special Guests, and programming galore. But first…

11am—Jim Woodring’s Magic Pen: Master cartoonist Jim Woodring will demonstrate his one-of-a-kind giant fountain pen as cartoonist Lauren Weinsten asks about his about his long career and new book, Poochytown. Stick around afterwards for a chance to try out the pen yourself!

1pm—Olivier Schrauwen: Parallel Lives: Austin English looks into Olivier Schrauwen’s career from “My Boy” until now. A rare opportunity for US audiences to hear the Belgian artist speak about his thrilling, confounding and visually spectacular work. Prepare your questions for audience Q&A following the discussion.
