BOSTON: Hornschemeier at MICExpo

This weekend, October 4th and 5th, Boston's going to host it's annual indie comics party masquerading as a comics show! The Massachusetts Independent Comics Expo (MICExpo) is being held at University Hall at 1815 Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge's Porter Square. The event is free, family friendly, and offers a weekend of activities as the Boston area's only show dedicated to independent and alternative comics. Our own Paul Hornschemeier is a special guest and even designed the poster! He'll be on the Atrium level, table 31. MICE even conducted a pre-con interview
with Paul.
Paul is also on a Saturday panel from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM "MICE special guests Raina Telgemeier, Emily Carroll and Paul Hornschemeier will discuss their processes in turning disparate comics material into published graphic novels. Each of these creators has worked in various formats: webcomics, serialization, anthologies. The panel will look at how the specific themes and qualities of their work come into play as short stories or serialized narratives come together into single books, exploring the definition of the term 'graphic novel.'"
