Here at Fantagraphics Headquarters we've been busy busy bees. As CAB approaches, we have been prepping and packing pallets of new books for CAB attendees. Among the many exciting new books we've got for you is a fresh stack of… well, of Frank Stack's upcoming Foolbert Funnies: Histories and Other Fictions! This comprehensive collection of the professor who arguably created the first underground comic (The Adventures of Jesus) will grace the Fantagraphics table at CAB, and otherwise will arrive at bookstores this December. The legendary EC Comics and MAD artist Wallace Wood is perhaps best known for the science fiction comics he drew. Our next EC Comics Library volume, Spawn of Mars and Other Stories, collects these stories in one glorious, deluxe hardcover book. We are very pleased to reveal the final cover art for the next Palomar & Luba book by Eisner award-winning artist Gilbert Hernandez: Ofelia. This book takes place after the events of Luba and Her Family, with the sisters, kids, and cousins all settled in California after leaving Palomar. There is new strife between Luba and her cousin Ofelia, and Luba's children seem to have a penchant for seeking out trouble.
