Fantagraphics Bookstore & Gallery is pleased to announce the wildly popular BEASTS exhibition will be extended though February 4. Inclement weather prevented many from making the trek to Georgetown during the first weeks of the show. This extension will allow everyone to enjoy this delightfully ambitious display. Organized by Jacob Covey, this exhibition includes a diverse collection of colorful artwork by over 50 accomplished artists. (Click here for more information about the exibit.)
Paul Constant’s enthusiastic review in The Stranger observes, “The broad array of talent is impressive… I could go on for hours.” In a comprehensive feature in the Seattle Times, Michael Upchurch comments, “There’s nothing as satisfying to a reader as a detailed inventory… The visuals range from striking graphic design to comic-book gothic… which blend fantasy, pseudoscience and macabre wit to savory effect.”
Fantagraphics Bookstore & Gallery is located at 1201 S. Vale Street (at Airport Way S.) only minutes south of downtown Seattle. Phone 206.658.0110. Open daily 11:30 to 8:00 PM, Sundays until 5:00. Join us this Saturday, January 10 until 9:00 PM for the festive Georgetown Second Saturday Art Attack featuring visual and performing arts presentations throughout the historic neighborhood. See you all soon.
