What if the derailed idealism of the 1960s could be put back on track and into public office? What if rhetoric wasn't just impressive but sincere and we didn't guard ourselves against it? What if leaders could be as smart and compassionate as you and I, not just serpents going lower than we're willing to? There's nothing wrong with well-placed HOPE. Please vote Tuesday.
